This course will enhance your knowledge, awareness and understanding of safeguarding in further and higher education such as colleges and universities.
Our range of safeguarding courses, from online to face to face are suitable for anyone having contact with or working with children or adults at risk at any level.
At SAFE, courses adhere to the Intercollegiate Document framework in order to identify the competencies required for individuals, professionals and organisations.
This course will enhance your knowledge, awareness and understanding of safeguarding in further and higher education such as colleges and universities.
This course will provide those with Designated and Lead safeguarding responsibilities, the opportunity to refresh, practise and enhance knowledge and skills, commensurate with the professional requirements of their role.
This course is designed for multi-agency professionals to evaluate a child’s lived experience of neglectful care and apply specific intervention strategies to safeguard and promote the child’s development.
This course will explore how professionals assess and intervene with families where neglect has been identified.
The course will promote participants competence to confidently respond and manage cases on a multiagency basis when presented with injuries in children that are considered to be non-accidental (NAI).
This course will increase your knowledge, confidence & awareness in working with disabled children, specifically when there are safeguarding issues.
The goal of becoming Trauma-Informed is to pass knowledge to staff / team members working with individuals in a safeguarding capacity, with the aim of avoiding subjecting vulnerable individuals to re-traumatisation.
Whole School Training is a 2.5 x hour course aimed at all members of school staff, including volunteers, to understand their responsibilities and role(s) concerning safeguarding.
