The Designated Safeguarding Person has a responsibility at both strategic levels within the organisation and on a day-to-day basis. This course will equip delegates with the skills to undertake the role for both education sectors and non-education sectors.
This course is designed to refresh the knowledge of those already performing the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead within both education and non-education sectors.
This three hour session will allow participants to build upon their existing child safeguarding understanding and will explore in further detail the Child Protection Process. It will provide both theoretical and practical practice to allow all those involved in sport to increase their knowledge and effectiveness.
