Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children and adults and protect them from harm.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and, all organisations that work with or have contact with children and adults at risk must demonstrate compliance with this responsibility.
What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding is the policies and practices that establishments follow to keep children and adults safe and promote their well-being. This can cover things such as recruitment of staff, recognising the signs of abuse, and ensuring that all staff are aware of legislation and safe practices. All organisations that work with or have contact with children and adults at risk must demonstrate compliance with this responsibility. There are various levels of responsibility, and therefore various levels of Safeguarding Training.
Safe prides themselves on delivering up to date and enriched training and consultancy on all aspects of Child and Adult Safeguarding, by trainers that have vast operational experience of the subject areas.
