SAFE Associate – Jon Anthony
Jon has 35 years of experience working in health and social care services. For 19 years, Jon worked within in an Integrated health and social care organisation. His roles extended to Head of Safeguarding Adults, MCA and DoLS, Associate Director of Professional Practice in Adult Social Care and Principal Social Worker.
Jon has extensive experience working within safeguarding partnership board arrangements and leading on developing safeguarding systems, policies and procedures across social care and health.
His roles also included Channel Panel Chair, leading and managing responses to large scale and complex safeguarding incidents, producing learning reviews, safeguarding adults training and development of adult social care professional practice standards.
Jon has a passion for safeguarding and upholding human rights and professional standards. He also has interests in audit, quality assurance within regulated services, embedding safeguarding as a golden thread across organisational practice and strengthening multi-agency arrangements.
