This course is designed to provide an awareness for those professionals and volunteers who have contact with children /and or adults and are required to know their responsibilities under the Prevent Guidance and legislation.
This workshop will allow all attendees the opportunity to understand the possible danger and subsequent harm that can occur as a result of inappropriate online behaviour.
This course will provide those with Designated and Lead safeguarding responsibilities, the opportunity to refresh, practise and enhance knowledge and skills, commensurate with the professional requirements of their role.
The course will enable safeguarding professionals to develop their knowledge and skills in a multi-agency arena to better evaluate risks in the field of neglectful care of children aged 0-11yrs and, to use intervention strategies to safeguard and promote development in the children assisting them to recover and thrive.
This course is aimed at staff who have contact with children and young people in a variety of roles with children, young people, their parents, carers or an adult who could pose a risk to children.
This course will enable multi-agency professionals to develop their knowledge base and skills through a variety of evidence based, analytical assessment tools and frameworks in order to evaluate experience of neglectful care.
The focus of the course is on using motivational interviewing in the field of safeguarding. You will develop knowledge, skills and confidence in using Motivational Interviewing to enable behaviour change in service users.
This course will provide participants with a solid understanding of important safeguarding issues related to FGM, breast ironing, virginity testing, forced marriage, child marriage and so-called honour-based abuse.
Domestic abuse is an incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive, threatening and violent behaviour, in the majority of cases by a partner or ex-partner, but also by a family member or carer.
