Course Introduction:
The aim of this course is to provide professional tutors with the skill sets and confidence in order to undertake the role according to current legislation of Government guidance.

- To be able to use Partnership Thresholds and make referrals
- To understand the concept of contextual safeguarding
- Be able to describe child exploitation and the various forms and to understand The Prevent Duty
- To be able to make effective decisions according to risk.

Course description:
This course is for everyone who tutors, whether as a sole trader, for an agency, or as a limited company. It is designed to ensure you are compliant with current legislation and also enable you to signpost to new clients that you have obtained specialist certification. It is suitable for those who tutor a few hours a week as a second income through to those who are professional tutors and those who run tuition agencies.
