This course is suitable for delegates who have recently attended the ‘Safeguarding Children Complex (Level 4)’ and wish to explore the competencies at Adult Safeguarding compliant with the Health Intercollegiate Document (Level 4) .The course is also a refresher for lead professionals who have already attained Safeguarding Adults (Level 4).

- Understand the importance of good recording practice when a safeguarding concern is identified
- To have an understanding of Achieving Best Evidence and communication standards for the purposes of criminal and/or civil court proceeding
- To have an understanding for Forensic procedures and gathering evidence
- Be able to undertake safeguarding risk assessments to ensure your organisation has the ability to safeguard adults at risk of harm
- Understand local Thresholds charts for Children and Adults at Risk
- Have a good understanding of sharing information regarding Adults at Risk of Harm
